RETAINER AGREEMENT & TERMS

To reserve a puppy from our program, we require a non-refundable retainer of $300. This retainer secures your place on our reservation list and confirms your commitment to moving forward. Because we plan our litter, care and placement with great intention, this policy helps ensures that every family is fully prepared and serious about the responsibility of bringing home a puppy.

The retainer also allows us to maintain fairness and transparency for all clients. Once the retainer is placed, it shows mutual agreement between both parties and allows us to confidentially hold your spot.

PURPOSE OF THE RETAINER

The purpose of the retainer is to secure the clients position on the breeders reservation list for a current or upcoming litter. The retainer demonstrate the clients commitment to purchasing a puppy and allows the breeder to plan responsibly for the care, placement, and preparation of each puppy.

RETAINER AMOUNT & PAYMENT TERMS

  • A non-refundable retainer of $300 is required to reserve a puppy.
  • The retainer is applied toward the total purchase price of the puppy.
  • The remaining balance is due at the time of puppy pick up unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • Payment of the retain confirms the clients understanding and acceptance of all terms in the agreement.

NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY

The client acknowledge that the retainer is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal circumstances
  • Inability to complete the purchase
  • Delay or change or changes in heat cycle, litter size, or timing.

RESERVATION LIST & SELECTION ORDER

  • The client position on the reservation list is determine by the date the retainer is received.
  • Puppy selection occurs in reservation order.
  • The breeder cannot guarantee specific colors, genders, or markings, but will do their best to match preference when possible.
  • If the desired gender or color is not available, the client may transfer their retainer to the next available litter.

TRANSFER OF RETAINER

  • Retainers may be transferred one time to a future litter at the breeders discretion.
  • Additional transfer may be granted on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

BREEDER’S RIGHT

The breeder reserves the right to:

  • Refuse sale to any individual if it is determined that the placement is not in the puppy’s best interest.

HEALTH & PICKUP

  • Puppies will not leave before 8 weeks of age.
  • Puppies will be vet-checked, dewormed, will have declaws removed, microchipped, and be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations at the time of pickup.
  • Pickup must occur on the agreed-upon date. Failure to pick up on time may result in boarding fees or forfeiture of the puppy. (Contact us for boarding fee if needed.)

FINAL PAYMENT

  • Final payment is due at pickup.
  • Accepted payment methods:
  • Puppies will not be released until full payment has been received.

  • Adult coat color
  • Temperament
  • Shedding level
  • Future health conditions not covered by the health guarantee
