Thank you for considering South Georgia Golden Doodle Ranch for your new puppy! We believe in making the adoption process as easy and transparent as possible. Our mission is to ensure that each of our Golden Doodles finds a loving, forever home where they can thrive. Below is a step-by-step guide to adopting one of our amazing puppies:
We invite you to browse our current and upcoming litters to find the perfect Golden Doodle for you and your family. We provide detailed information on each litter, including the parents’ health and temperament and each puppy’s personality traits. We aim to help you find a puppy that fits your family’s lifestyle.
Once you’ve chosen a litter or a specific puppy, the next step is to submit an adoption application. This helps us get to know you and understand your expectations and plans for your new puppy. We ask questions about your home, your experience with pets, and how you’ll care for your puppy. This is an important step to ensure that our puppies go to the best homes.
After we receive your application, we’ll review it carefully. We will contact you to discuss the next steps if your application is approved. We will also schedule a phone call to answer any questions you may have about the adoption process, our breeding practices, and how we ensure the health and well-being of our puppies.
At South Georgia Golden Doodle Ranch, LLC, we take great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized, and loving Golden Doodle puppies. Each puppy receives individual attention, proper veterinary care, and early socialization to ensure they are ready for their forever homes. The adoption fee for each puppy is $2,100, which includes a full veterinary health check, up-to-date vaccinations, dew claw removal, microchipping for identification and safety, a starter puppy pack with essentials, and ongoing support and guidance as your puppy grows. We are committed to providing you with a well-adjusted, happy puppy that will become a cherished member of your family.
Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet with your selected puppy (or puppies, if you still decide). This allows you to spend quality time with the puppy to ensure it’s the right fit for your family. During this meeting, we’ll provide you with more details about the puppy’s development and answer any additional questions you have.
If you’re ready to proceed, a non-refundable retainer of $300 is required to officially reserve your puppy. This retainer guarantees that your chosen puppy will be held for you until they are ready to go home. Once the retainer is received, we will provide you with a Retainer Agreement outlining all details, including the health guarantee, responsibilities, and expectations for both you and your new puppy.
In the days leading up to your puppy’s homecoming, we provide helpful resources to ensure you’re ready. These include puppy care tips, food recommendations, training advice, and what to expect in the first few days with your new furry friend. We want to ensure you feel prepared and confident as you welcome your new puppy into your home.
When the time comes, your new Golden Doodle will be ready to become a part of your family. Your puppy will come vet-checked, microchipped, and vaccinated—fully prepared for this exciting new chapter. They will have had their dew claws removed, received their first round of shots, and been dewormed at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. To ease their transition, we’ll include a blanket that carries the comforting scent of their mother and littermates. You’ll also receive their complete health records, a starter pack of food, and a few toys to help them feel right at home.
Even after your puppy has settled into their forever home, we’re here to help. At South Georgia Golden Doodle Ranch, we believe in building lasting relationships with the families we work with. We are always here to offer advice and support if you have questions about training, health, or anything else. We are committed to ensuring your puppy grows healthy, happy, and well- adjusted.
As part of our commitment to responsible pet ownership and the long-term well-being of our puppies, we require all adopters to have their puppy spayed or neutered between the ages of 6 to 9 months. Once we receive documented proof from a licensed veterinarian confirming that the procedure has been completed within this timeframe, we will issue a $100 refund as a gesture of appreciation for following through with this important health requirement. This policy is in place to help prevent unplanned litters and to support the overall health and behavior of your Golden Doodle as they mature.
We are thrilled that you’re considering a South Georgia Golden Doodle Ranch puppy! If you have any questions or are ready to begin the adoption process, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
